Cook Children's Health Plan
We are a local, non-profit company that cares about our community. Our health plan provides health care for CHIP, STAR, and STAR Kids (Medicaid) members in the Tarrant service area. The counties include: Tarrant, Johnson, Denton, Parker, Hood, and Wise.
Cook Children's Health Plan offers quality health care plans that you can afford for the whole family. The CHIP, STAR, and STAR Kids programs allow you to choose from many doctors, clinics, hospitals, and specialty services.
We have staff that speaks English and Spanish. We can also help you if you
need assistance in understanding or reading any of our handbooks or directories.

If you get benefits through Medicaid's STAR or STAR Kids program,
call your medical or dental plan first. If you don't get the help you need
there, you should do one of the following:
